Private Investigation Services

Description

The Private Investigation Services Program equips graduates with the skills necessary to conduct in-depth investigations. The hands-on approach that City College's instructors use is invaluable to you when you go out on your own investigations.

As a graduate you will be prepared for entry level positions with private investigations agencies, attorney firms, insurance companies and corporate investigations.

Upon obtaining an Associate of Science Degree in Private Investigation Services the Division of Licensing reduces one (1) year of internship; therefore, you will only need one year of internship, to become a fully licensed "C" investigator.

Students enrolling in this program should
understand that in order to qualify for state licensure as a private investigator, they must be at least 18 years of age;

be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or have been granted authority to work in the United States by the US Department of Homeland Security; have no disqualifying criminal history; and be of good moral character.
